Bakersfield, Calif. (Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024) – The Greater Bakersfield Chamber announced the extension of the nominations deadline for the Beautiful Bakersfield Awards, presented by Valley Strong Credit Union. In light of heightened enthusiasm from the community to submit nominations, the Chamber decided to provide an additional two weeks for nominations. The new deadline is Thursday, Feb. 15, at 11:59 p.m.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, the Chamber recognizes the significance of reflecting on cherished individuals and places that have made a lasting impact over the past year.
“Share the love this February and nominate a person, business, brand or organization that has contributed to making Bakersfield, beautiful,” said President & CEO, Janelle Capra. “The 2024 Beautiful Bakersfield Award offers a meaningful opportunity to honor and nominate those who have made outstanding contributions to our community.”
