Community Action Partnership of Kern, Kern County's official anti-poverty agency, continues to provide critical resources to the community including food distributions from the CAPK Food Bank, utility bill payment assistance, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and the CAPK 2-1-1 Resource and Referral line. Some operations, including the CAPK Head Start early childhood education centers in Kern County, have been closed until April 14 to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
